Seeing Eye Hog Instructions

- Step 1 drill the hole
First drill a 7/8 inch hole at the bottom of the keg, about 1 inch above the bottom weld. Make sure the hole is not above a vent hole.

- Step 2 file the hole
Using a round file or Dremmel tool, file the hole nice and smooth with no burrs.

- Step 3 add the grommet
Slip the grommet into the hole and make sure there is rubber on each side. Then lubricate the hole with silicon, vegitable oil, or other non-petrolium, food grade lubricant.

- Step 4 installing the fitting
Slide the fitting (with one stainless washer) inside of the grommet. It will be tight so be prepared to push and twist. Then slip on the other washer and nut on the inside of the kettle.

- Step 4B the nut
The nut may not catch any threads on the first try. If this is the case, remove the inside washer and tighten the nut. Then remove the nut, add the washer and try again. It is a tight fit, wich is why it will not leak.

- Step 5 the top fitting and tubing
Leave the bottom fitting a little loose, and slip on the tubing and other fitting. Swing the top fiting into position and mark where the top hole will be drilled. A small level will help insure that it is straight and level. Repeat steps 1-4B for the top fitting.

- Step 6 tighten and test
Tighten up the nuts and test for leaks. Then using a gallon pitcher, measure and mark the desired
